I started with flying trapeze and aerial acrobatics in Colorado and then performed with Le Petit Cirque in California while I finished school. 1pm - 2:30pm - Jessica Niven Tumbling - Beg - Int - 8 places $60pp
As a toddler always climbing everything, my terrified parents threw me into gymnastics to learn how to fall. Ever since then I`ve loved and sought out anything that involves getting up high and flying through the air. At the age of 17 my love of gymnastics developed into a love of circus and I headed off to the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) in Melbourne, Australia to begin my career as a professional acrobat.
Graduating NICA in 2011 I began to use my circus skills as a launching platform to see the world and went on to perform in London, Bali, America, Thailand, and Israel as part of festivals, companies, resorts, events and camps.
Now in London as part of the 2015-16 intake of BA Students at the National Circus Centre I have come to heighten my level of skills and stylization, specifically on my main circus apparatus, the swinging trapeze.
