Entry Fees

The Australian Circus Festival is about promoting circus arts and uniting all sectors of the circus industry and celebrating our passion for circus. We hope that all the artists will enjoy their time with us, make new friends, catch up with old friends and enjoy the experience of performing under a BigTop in front of a circus loving audience. It is an invaluable opportunity for competitor to network with fellow industry leaders.https://www.paypal.me/ozcircusfest

During the festival, we will have many activities, including workshops, shows, displays and circus themed shops. These events are available to anybody who would like to attend, not just the competitors, so feel free to bring along friends and family who may enjoy these extra activities.

ENTRY FEE
To finalise your acceptance into the festival, the festival requires a payment of $35 (Per artist competing... For example, a duo is two artists, so a total of $70 for a duo) to secure their place. The payment must be made by the 12th of June to secure your place in the festival. You can pay via clicking the following image link:

Judging and Scoring:

You will be awarded 10 points for artistry (Costume, creativity, elegance, choreography etc) and 10 points for technique (Difficulty of skill, execution of skill)

Steps to prevent corruption within the jury? We understand that this is a small industry and that many artists and jury members may know each other. We have a system in place to help prevent over scoring or underscoring. The highest and lowest scores will be deducted from the total. For example; Jury member John gives 1, Jury member Jane gives a 2, and jury member Janet gives a 3… John and Jane’s scores will be deducted and the remaining jury members scores will be totalled to create the artists final score.
